My name is Danielle Kardasz, and I will be your child's teacher for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year! For much of my life I have considered Villa Montessori my home away from home. I began my Montessori journey as a Villa student at 4 years old, and graduated from the 8th grade at the former Oak Campus. I then attended Xavier College Prep and went on to receive my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education at NAU.
I discovered early on in my life that I had a passion for children and teaching. When I became a mother, I thought deeply about my own parenting and teaching beliefs and philosophies, and realized there was no where else I would rather teach and raise my boys than in a MOntessori environment. I was lucky enough to work as an assistant to a veteran Montessori teacher for 2 years before I was offered the opportunity to lead my own classroom in 2015. And here we are!
I have two curious and adventurous boys, Augustus (9) and Julian (7) who also attend Villa. We love spending time together reading, hiking (when the weather permits!), and cooking. It is truly a dream come true to be back at Villa, not only as a parent, but as a teacher and supporter of the Montessori philosophy. I cant wait to continue on this journey with you and your children!
